Flaming Hearts

Reader, this poem arose from a series of phrases offered in a twitter prompt. They were: Moonlit shadows, indulgent sky, breathes serenity, wisps of memories, bittersweet Dawn.

Although one is usually expected to use one or two, I wanted to stuff in as many as I could into one micropoetry because it felt like a fun challenge and my mind needed the diversion from the problems I was stuck on.

Now that I am done with it, I don’t think I can offer an unbiased judgement as to how it reads. To me, purely for the reason of short amusement it offered, I like it and I suppose, that is all that matters. 😋

Wish you a great week ahead!
