Pilgrim

The Incredible Logical Incoherence Of A Jejune Mindset – By yours truly.
Forever a pilgrim

you could call Her.

Walking through

revolving doors,

to Temples of posh,

high-end stores.

She'd drop you a penny

of sideways glance,

valuating your worth

from hair to shoes.

Pearly whites set

in a forever smirk.

She lives to breathe in

your sorry lowliness.

What no one knows

is the sheer emptiness

that hounds Her daily

fake tanned face.

And how beyond

Her white picket fence

Blunt truths haunt

a lonely residence.
